UKU / BUCS University Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Nationals (UMWON) will be held on this weekend. Details about qualification to this event can be found here.

This event will follow the UKU Tournament Rules.

All university teams are encouraged to be working towards having a Spirit Captain at all events. SOTG resources can be found here. Please ensure your Spirit scores are submitted promptly ideally after each game or by the end of play on each day. Scores submitted after midnight on the last day of the event are unlikely to be included in the SOTG data.

    • Teams must qualify for this event from BUCS Leagues / fixtures. More info can be found here.

    • All players must have UKU Membership and be rostered to the relevant team on JustGO. Random roster checks will be carried out over the weekend - please ensure everyone has their student ID card with them. Full details on requirements for roster/eligibility checks can be found in the University Event Specific Rule Appendix of the UKU Tournament Rules.

    On Arrival:

    Please report to the TDs to collect your team disc and sign off on your roster.

    Toilets and changing rooms

    Toilets can be found inside and outside both pavilions, please use both. There are changing rooms available in both pavilions as.

    Water

    There are indoor and outdoor water taps at both pavilions. Please see the pitch map for their locations.

    Parking:

    There is plenty of parking on-site, please follow the direction the the stewards and staff.

    Food

    Food, hot and cold drinks will all be available on-site

    No dogs are allowed on site

  • Medical Support

    There will be first aid / emergency cover on site, located near the TD desk / pavilion.

    For serious incidents, the nearest hospital is:

    Safety

    KEEP THE SIDELINES CLEAR - gaps between the pitches are for safety reasons, please do not sit in those gaps or fill them with items such as kit bags, chairs or prams. Certain sidelines are for players only.

    Please do a visual check of the playing area and remain vigilant for any potential hazards on and close to the pitch.

    Please take off your jewellery / watch / Fitbit, etc - We urge players to follow rule 3.4. in the Official WFDF Rules of Ultimate.

  • Spirit scores are entered using online forms (you’ll find the link using the button at the top of this page).

    You should be able to access the form on a smartphone. If you have any issues please go to the TD desk.
