UKU Uni Fans 2024 - Mixed Tour

UKU Mixed Tour event, Uni Fans, held at Riverside Sports Complex, Nottingham. Enjoy playing in your own club tournament, whilst checking out the best of the Uni action between games.

Uni Fans is taking place alongside the UKU/BUCS University National Championships.

This event will follow the UKU Tournament Rules.

Please ensure your team has a Spirit Captain at all events. SOTG resources can be found here. Please submit Spirit scores promptly ideally after each game or by the end of play on each day. Scored submitted after midnight on the last day of the event may not be included in Spirit data.

  • Team Fees & Player Fees

    The team fee at the point of entry is £150. There will be a £15 player fee collected closer to the event

    Once teams have been confirmed, each team will need to make a payment based on the number of players on their roster.

    Rosters:

    All the teams must make sure that their team rosters are up to date on the system BEFORE Saturday morning of the event. Any issues, please email admin@ukultimate.com.

    All players must have up-to-date full membership for the event

    Venue:

    On Arrival:

    Please report to the TDs to collect your team disc and sign off on your roster.

    Toilets and changing rooms

    Toilets can be found inside and outside both pavilions, please use both. There are changing rooms available in both pavilions as.

    Water

    There are indoor and outdoor water taps at both pavilions. Please see the pitch map for their locations.

    Parking:

    There is plenty of parking on-site, please follow the direction the the stewards and staff.

    Food

    Food, hot and cold drinks will all be available on-site.

    No dogs are allowed on site

  • Medical Support

    There will be an emergency medical team on site, located near the TD desk (this will be in the large marquee).

    If you are unable to find them, please speak to the TD as the medical team will be contactable via radio throughout the weekend.

    Please note - except in the case of an emergency where the medical team deems it necessary to take a player to hospital in the ambulance, we are not able to offer the facility of driving players to the hospital, nor sending a volunteer to look after and stay with them.

    Safety

    KEEP THE SIDELINES CLEAR - Gaps in between pitches are for safety reasons, please do not sit there or fill them with items such as kit bags, chairs or prams. Certain sidelines are for players ONLY so please keep an eye out on where you sit.

    THE PLAYING AREA - Please do a visual check of the playing area and remain vigilant for any potential hazards on and close to the pitch.

    TAKE OFF YOUR WATCH/FITBIT/ JEWELLERY - We urge players to adhere to rule 3.4. in the Official WFDF Rules of Ultimate.

  • Spirit scores are entered using online forms (you’ll find the link using the button at the top of this page).

    You should be able to access the form on a smartphone. If you have any issues please go to the TD desk.

    Please aim to enter your scores after each game or by the end of play on each day. Scores submitted after midnight on the last day of the event are unlikely to be included in the Spirit data.

  • The schedule will be posted and available at the top of the page closer to the time.

    Before further information is announced teams should plan on the basis of play between approx. 9:00-18:00 on Saturday and 9:00-17:00 on Sunday.
