World Ultimate Championship GB Squad Player Applications Are Open

We’re pleased to invite applications from players wishing to represent GB/UK Ultimate (Open, Mixed and Women’s) at WUC 2024. The trial process will comprise of 2 phases: application and a main selection.

Once applications have closed, managers will review applications and invitations will be made to attend individual squad main selection weekends. The main selection for the squads will be held separately on different weekends. 

Eligibility for trials

We acknowledge that the transgender policies of WFDF may restrict players’ eligibility at WUGC (organised by WFDF). GB trials and training will operate in accordance with the UKU transgender policy, and players are welcome to apply, trial, and if successful, train, in the divison (or gender role in the mixed divison) that they identify with. However, given the complexities presented by differing policies, we welcome the opportunity to discuss further with any players for whom these policies might restrict eligibility. Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th November - London

Following the main selection weekends, invitations to be part of the Mixed, Women’s or Open will be made by each squad.

 The application deadline is 23:59 on Friday 15th September
