Volunteer With UKU
Your community needs your help please!
Whilst UK Ultimate has some paid staff, much of what we do as an organisation requires the involvement of volunteers for both decision-making, and crucially sometimes taking on specific tasks or projects. Please consider applying for one of the roles outlined below.
We are looking to rebuild the Competitions Committee as a number of long-standing members are stepping down.
The University committee has a two-year cycle of appointments, and two of the roles are open for application.
Please look here for more information about all of the UKU sub-committees. Each committee’s role and functions are listed in the current Terms of Reference (ToR) for that committee, and role descriptions are generally outlined in the ToR.
The following roles are selected by a mixture of election or appointment by the chairperson/committee/board. Please consider getting involved, and also please look out for more roles over the coming months. [Update 18th Jan 2024: The Open, Mixed and Youth coordinator positions have now been filled.]

Furthermore, whilst there are no specific roles to be filled in the Safeguarding, Spirit of the Game or Scheduling Committees, we are always looking for more help in those groups. So if you would like to get involved with some of the work / projects those committees are doing, please get in touch using the form. Other committee roles come up fairly frequently, so do please keep an eye out for those.
