GB Grand Masters Mixed 2024 Player Expression of Interest
We're currently looking to grow the Grandmaster Mixed community and to hear player expressions of interest for GB in 2024.
Any male-matching players born in 1984 or earlier are eligible to play Grandmasters in 2024, along with any female-matching players born in 1987 or earlier.
We hope that the GMX division at WMUC 2024 (November 9-16 in Irvine, California) will be viable and want to hear from anyone interested in being selected to represent GB at this tournament.
Beyond this we’re looking to run training sessions that will be open to all age appropriate athletes as we look to build the number of active players in this division bearing in mind the EUF’s recent move to an annual European Masters Club Championship (EMUCC) and their intention to hold European Masters Championships every four years from 2025 (presenting another opportunity for a GB team).
We’d love to hear in particular from players with elite level experience looking to get back into the game, or from anyone who can rapidly get to grips with different offensive and defensive strategies and can adapt their game to the particular challenges presented in the GMX division.
