UKU University Mixed Outdoor Nationals (UXON) will be held on this weekend.

This event will follow the UKU Tournament Rules.

University teams should be working towards having a Spirit Captain at all events. SOTG resources can be found here. Please ensure your Spirit scores are submitted promptly using the button at the top of the page, ideally after each game or by the end of play on each day.

  • All players must have UKU Membership and be rostered to the relevant team on JustGO. Random roster checks will be carried out over the weekend - please ensure everyone has their student ID card with them. Full details on requirements for roster/eligibility checks can be found in the University Event Specific Rule Appendix of the UKU Tournament Rules.

    • University Mixed Outdoor Nationals (UXON) is open to all university teams.

    • When entries are open, please use the button above to take you to the event page.

    • Club admins must enter the event for your team.

    NO DOGS - please tell all friends and family planning to come along and watch that dogs are NOT permitted on site at the fields.

    ON ARRIVAL - report to the TD Desk on arrival to receive any important notices & to collect your team disc. There will not be a separate captain’s meeting, but every team should make sure that a representative checks in on arrival.

    SHOWERS & TOILETS - changing rooms, showers and toilets will be located in the pavilion. Signs will indicate which are male and female.

    CAR PARKING - There will be plenty of parking on site. Please park responsibly. Please can those arriving in minibuses use the overflow carpark during the weekend.

    WATER - Water will be available from taps based in and around the sports centre. We recommend that players bring at least two 1 litre water bottles with them.

    FOOD - There will be food available on site for sale.

  • Medical Support

    There will be first aid / emergency cover on site, located near the TD desk / pavilion.

    Safety

    KEEP THE SIDELINES CLEAR - gaps between the pitches are for safety reasons, please do not sit in those gaps or fill them with items such as kit bags, chairs or prams. Certain sidelines are for players only.

    Please do a visual check of the playing area and remain vigilant for any potential hazards on and close to the pitch.

    Please take off your jewellery / watch / Fitbit, etc - We urge players to follow rule 3.4. in the Official WFDF Rules of Ultimate.

  • Free camping is available onsite for both Friday (from 7pm) and Saturday nights.

    Access to the campsite on Friday night will be via the gate closest to the main building.

    Please note the campsite rules:

    No cooking of any kind allowed on site

    No fires allowed

    No smoking allowed

    Pitch your tent in the marked areas

    Walkways should be left clear so people can navigate through the campsite

    Please ensure you put any rubbish in the bins provided

    Be considerate of others who may be trying to sleep nearby

    Any belongings left in the campsite area is at the risk of the owner and both the venue and UKU take no responsibility for the loss or damage of any items.

    ANYONE BREAKING THESE RULES MAY BE ASKED TO LEAVE

    Alternatively there are plenty of hotel options nearby.

  • Spirit scores are entered using online forms You should be able to access the form on a smartphone. If you have any issues please go to the TD desk.

    Please aim to enter your scores after each game or by the end of play on each day. Scores submitted after midnight on the last day of the event are unlikely to be included in the Spirit data.

  • The schedule will be posted and available at the top of the page closer to the time.

    Before further information is announced teams should plan on the basis of play between approx. 9:00-18:00 on Saturday and 9:00-17:00 on Sunday.
